PBC on Spike Weigh-in Results: Barthelemy, Bey On Point
Premier Boxing Champions returns to Spike TV Friday
night with another edition of fistic fury. Headlining the PBC on
Spike telecast will be Cuban defector Rances Barthelemy defending
his IBF lightweight title against Mickey Bey.
At Thursday’s weigh-ins, both combatants came in under the 135-pound weight limit, giving their title clash the green light. Bey (22-1-1, 10 KOs) was the first to the scale and the Cleveland fighter nailed it, coming in officially at 134.2 pounds. Barthelemy (24-0, 13 KOs) was slightly heavier; he clocked in at 134.6 pounds.
The action will be televised live from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel Casino in Hollywood, Fla. starting at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
