Shoaib Yousaf Ready for Brave CF 40 Main Event Despite Camp Hindrances
On Monday night, Shoaib Yousaf will face arguably the hardest test in his career so far.
As Sherdog previously revealed, Yousaf (7-1) will headline the upcoming Brave CF 40 card, which will go down in Sweden on Aug. 24. "The Assassin" will lock horns with up-and-coming Austrian fighter Mochamed Machaev (9-0) in a featherweight clash whose winner could potentially find themselves in contention for the throne.
Yousaf is currently riding a five-bout winning streak, including stoppages in his last four. In his organizational debut in December, the 25-year old fighter submitted Hassan Talal via rear-naked choke in the second round of their Brave CF 33 encounter. Six of the seven victories for "The Assassin" have come inside the distance.
The British fighter sat down to talk with Sherdog during a recent media day. "The Assassin" revealed how the ongoing COVID-19 health emergency impacted his training camp, his thoughts on his next opponent and his plans in the Bahraini promotion.
