Conan Silveira on Kayla Harrison's Loss, 'We Don't See as a Loss, We See as a Learning Experience'
American Top Team founder and head coach Marcus “Conan” Silveira commented on Kayla Harrison's first loss in MMA.
The two-time Olympic gold medalist and two-time Professional Fighters League champion suffered a defeat at the hands of longtime rival Larissa Pacheco in the 2022 PFL Championships headliner. According to Silveira, the loss has to be seen as a learning experience from which Harrison will return stronger than ever.
“That is another thing that we see different from everybody. You know, we don't see as a loss, we see as a learning experience. I do believe, a thousand percent, Kayla's gonna come back stronger than before and more skilled. Be ready, Kayla Harrison is coming back next season and is gonna take the belt back home.”
