Cheap Seats: Sara McMann
Jordan Breen and Greg Savage were back in the “Cheap Seats” Thursday on the Sherdog Radio Network and were joined by Olympic silver medalist and UFC bantamweight Sara McMann.
McMann, who earned her silver medal in wrestling at the 2004 Athens Games, stops by to discuss both inking with the UFC as well as the IOC's decision to discontinue wrestling at the 2020 Games. The grappler opens up about never imagining she'd be fighting in the UFC, whether or not Alexis Davis is a viable opponent for her, her shock upon hearing the news of wrestling being removed from the Olympics, her take on international wrestling rules as well as the necessity to take the internet with a grain of salt.
The Cheap Seaters also rap on the outlook for the UFC in the United Kingdom, the company's chances to run a show in New York in the year 2013, Eduardo Dantas-Marcos Galvao, "Intervention," their favourite Valentijn Overeem memories in honour of "Valentijn's Day" and much more.
