Phenomenal Fortune
Ketlen Vieira isn’t going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
While many observers didn’t think the Brazilian deserved the nod against Holly Holm in the UFC Fight Night 206 headliner, those opinions don’t matter nearly as much as judges Michael Bell and Derek Cleary, both of whom submitted 48-47 tallies for “Fenomeno” to give her a controversial split decision triumph on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Vieira has won three of her last four Octagon appearances, a stretch that includes back-to-back triumphs over former title holders in Holm and Miesha Tate.
