United Fight Alliance (UFA) Partners with Victory Combat Sports out of Boston for “Battle Royale” Tonight

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Tampa, FL – United Fight Alliance is once again
partnering with Victory Combat Sports to bring you “Victory VI
Battle Royale” out of Boston tonight June 20th. The event will be
held at the Royale, centrally located in Boston’s Theater
District.
Victory CEO Kevin Lillis stated “Royale is Boston’s most luxurious venue with full VIP treatment. We are excited to hold our next event at the Royale, there isn’t a bad seat in the house. And no one will want to miss the expected battle between Bekzod Abdurakhmonoz and Marcel Goncalves – a fantastic wrestler versus a cut throat Jiu Jitsu athlete. Jesse Juvenile Merritt versus Nolan Ryan Ty Norwood is going to be a collision course, they are two up-and-comers. Abraham Ferrod is making his MMA debut. He is the 2010 national Egypt wrestling champion and he also represented Egypt in the 2012 Olympics.”
Kevin added, “This will be our sixth show in just over a year, and
third in Boston under the Victory banner. Victory V at Terminal 5
in NYC in April was only the beginning. If you were impressed at
Terminal 5, then you’re sure to be amazed by our Royale Boston
production. We are taking Victory Combat Sports to a whole other
level in 2014.”
Victory VI will be featured on the UFA Network in over 100 million homes and will also be broadcast in New England on NESN at 8 pm on Saturday July 5th.
“I’m thrilled to be working with Victory again” stated Jay Adams, CEO of United Fight Alliance. “Their last event in New York City sold out quickly and I expect the same this time around in Boston. I’m looking forward to seeing Uzbekistan transplant Bekzod Abdurakhmonov fight. He is undefeated as a pro and amateur at 5-0 and 5-0. He fights at light weight and everybody has their eyes on him including the big show. He fights Marcel Goncalves who is no joke and is looking to make a name for himself by stopping the UFC prospect. I also like the light-heavyweight fight featuring Kevin Haley and Jesse McElligott. Haley has won five out of his last six fights and McElligott seven out of his last eight fights. Good looking card all around and I can’t wait to get back to my hometown of Boston.
