(PRESS RELEASE) -- RANCHO CUCAMONGA, California - King of the Cage,
one of the world’s premier organizations for Mixed Martial Arts,
presents "Cutting Edge" at The Hotel Cascada in Albuquerque, New
Mexico on Saturday, April 25, 2015, for an action-packed evening of
MMA fights.
The main event in the 155 lb. Division will feature John Rozema from Rio Rancho, New Mexico (Judgment MMA) doing battle against Dorian Dixon from Albuquerque, New Mexico (ABQ BJJ/Rosales KB). Rozema is a tough striker who is looking to bounce back after a hard fought loss in his last bout. Dixon is currently riding a two fight win streak.
In the co-main event in the 130 lb. Catchweight Division, local
crowd favorite Tim Sosa, (FIT
NHB), makes his return to Albuquerque, against Jordan
Hernandez from Kansas City, Missouri.
Other featured bouts include:
135 lb. Division, Charlie Williams returns after his successful pro debut KO in his first KOTC professional fight against Isaac Johnson from Colorado Springs.
The return of the “Vanilla Gorrilla”, Jesse Martinez and Ernesto Salvidrez as two prospects that are two of the highest decorated grapplers in the country and have a combined 5-0 record.
Other fighters on the card include amateur standout and former New Mexico State high school wrestling champion Carlos Montano (FIT NHB) who looks to improve to 5-0, crowd favorite Jesse Sandoval from Rio Rancho's Judgement MMA making his return to his hometown, undefeated Elias Proce (ABQ BJJ), who is riding a 3 fight winning streak after finishing all of his opponents by TKO and more.
