Michael Bisping Deserves an Honorable Mention for 'BMF'
Michael Bisping really liked being a professional fighter.
Need proof? Well, according to an interview with MMA Junkie this past July, Bisping let fans know that after his 2013 bout with Vitor Belfort, “The Count” continued his career with only one eye. “I was just about able to scrape past the medicals,” Bisping said in his interview. “It was definitely touch and go. I was always terrified of doing a full training camp, then being turned away by the commission doctor.”

With UFC 244 a month away being headlined for a fight to see who the “Baddest MF” is in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, there should be an honorable mention for Bisping, who not only continued to fight with an injury that would shelve a lot of fighters, but went out of his way to keep doing what he loved. Not only did he keep fighting and winning, but he got to avenge his losses to Luke Rockhold and Dan Henderson while winning the middleweight title to boot.
Bisping would lose that title to Georges St. Pierre but that loss does not seem so bad now, knowing St-Pierre beat a one-eyed man.
