The undefeated 2016 Olympic silver medalist will put his perfect 10-0 record on the line when he battles Clay Guida in the UFC on ESPN 29 co-headliner this Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Madsen enters the cage as the favorite. The Fight Ready rep last appeared at UFC 248 on March 7, 2020, when he overcame a broken jaw and took a unanimous decision from former Legacy Fighting Alliance champion Austin Hubbard. Guida, meanwhile, has been a fixture on the UFC roster for nearly 15 years. He last competed at UFC Fight Night 184, where he laid claim to a unanimous verdict over “The Ultimate Fighter 12” finalist Michael Johnson on Feb. 6.
As Madsen and Guida make final preparations for their three-round
co-main event, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied
them to this point.
