By The Numbers: Arman Tsarukyan vs. Damir Ismagulov
Ranked lightweights will lock horns inside one of the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s deepest divisions when Arman Tsarukyan faces Damir Ismagulov in the UFC Fight Night 216 co-main event on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. They are set to play second fiddle to the Jared Cannonier-Sean Strickland middleweight headliner.
Tsarukyan has rattled off five victories across his past six outings. The Tiger Muay Thai rep last appeared at UFC on ESPN 38, where he dropped a five-round unanimous decision to Mateusz Gamrot on June 25. Ismagulov, meanwhile, finds himself on a remarkable 19-fight winning streak. The American Top Team export last competed on June 18, when he eked out a split decision over Guram Kutateladze in their three-round UFC on ESPN 37 pairing.
