The Buffalo Thunder Casino in New Mexico was the site where Bryant Perella, a highly-touted welterweight prospect suffered the first loss of his career and it was a nasty one.

Ugas pounced on him like a true veteran would and never relented, landing punch after punch until the referee finally intervened. With fight was halted officially at 2:20 of the fourth, giving Ugas a moderate upset to cap off a solid night of action in the latest edition of PBC on FS1.
Junior welterweight Ryan Karl (14-0, 9 KOs) remained unbeaten with a terrific performance against Jose Quezada (11-1, 6 KOs) in scoring a fourth-round TKO of his own. Quezada was take off his feet from a series of blows in the first and then again with about 10 seconds remaining in the fourth. After seeing how badly Quezada was getting pounded on, his corner and the ringside physician called off the action before the fifth could begin.
Emmanuel Median improved to 11-0 with his eighth pro knocked when he took out Francisco Medel (9-5, 5 KOs) in the second. A vicious shot to the head felled Medel hard and the ref opted to end the fight halfway through his count. The official time of knockout was 1:54 of the stanza.
