Showtime Boxing Weigh-in Results: All Six Main Card Fighters on the Mark
ShoBox: The New Generation returns Friday night with a tripleheader
of boxing action from inside Omega Products Event Center in Corona,
Calif. Headlining the event will be a welterweight showdown between
prospects Taras Shelestyuk and Jimmy Herrera over 10 rounds.
At Thursday’s weigh-ins, the two featured combatants, as well as the rest of the televised card, all made weight, giving the event the green light. Herrera (15-3-1, 8 KOs) tipped the scale at 146.25 pounds and looked primed for action. Not to be outdone, the slightly heavier Shelestyuk (14-0, 9 KOs) came in officially at 146.5 pounds.
The action will be televised live on Showtime beginning at 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT.
