Osama ElSeady Is ‘Super Honored’ to Represent Egypt on the PFL Challenger Series
Osama ElSeady is the first Egyptian fighter to compete under the Professional Fighters League banner, an honor that motivates him.
ElSeady (8-2) carries the weight of a whole country on his shoulders ahead of his light heavyweight clash with Ultimate Fighting Championship alum Impa Kasanganay on March 10. The Warlions MMA Academy representative will headline the Week 7 of the PFL Challenger Series, hoping to score another highlight-reel knockout victory that could earn him a contract for the Regular Season. In his latest appearance, ElSeady destroyed Mohamed Ali Sellam via front kick knockout 54 seconds into their Brave CF 67 encounter. ElSeady now must repeat himself against of Kasanganay, but the Egyptian is pretty confident he will put his country on the mixed martial arts map with a dominant performance.
“I’m very excited and super honored to represent Egypt in the PFL. I’m getting ready to put on a show and I’m gonna make Egypt proud. There's a lot of good fighters, there's a lot of talent in Egypt and I’m planning on showing that in the fight.”
