Larissa Pacheco is confident she will overcome the biggest challenge in her career in the upcoming 2022 PFL Championships headliner. For the second time in her career, Pacheco (18-4, 7-2 PFL) reached the tournament finals in the 155-pound weight class. Earlier this year, she crushed Zamzagul Fayzallanova, Genah Fabian and Olena Kolesnyk with punches, all within the first period. Now, the Brazilian fighter is scheduled to face three-time PFL champion Kayla Harrison for the third time in three years. In their previous encounters, Harrison upended Pacheco on all scorecards twice. This time, however, Pacheco is confident in her striking skills enough to predict a knockout over her foe.
“I'm training everything. I know she is good, but she [has] her only game, grappling and take downs. She likes [doing that]. I like striking, I'm training that. I like Brazilian jiu-jitsu too. I'm training everything. This is my style and this is good for me. I like it.”
