‘Gaucho’ Pereira Wants to Beat Mohammad Fakhreddine into Retirement at Brave CF 41

Brave Combat Federation middleweight champion Daniel Souza Pereira will take on Mohammad Fakhreddine (13-4-1NC) in the main event of Brave CF 41 on Sept. 17.

At the moment, Daniel Souza Pereira (9-2) is riding a five-bout winning streak. In his Brave stint, “Gaucho” rendered Bruno Assis unconscious via first-round KO in their Brave CF 25 encounter. Then, he crushed Chad Hanekom to capture the 185-pound belt back in December 2019.

In a recent interview with Sherdog European correspondent Tudor Leonte, a visibly moved Pereira confessed that his latest victories have improved his lifestyle. He also said that he would keep a close eye on the Denis Tiuliulin vs. Ikram Aliskerov co-main event middleweight battle, since the outcome of that fight might decide its next opponent. Eventually, “Gaucho” said that even though he has the utmost respect for his next opponent, he will beat “The Latest” up so much that he will consider retirement immediately after their encounter.
