Heavyweight boxing slugger Luis Ortiz, a former WBA interim and intercontinental champion, talked about a possible crossover to mixed martial arts with Kayla Baity for Sherdog.com.

A product of the prestigious Cuban boxing program, Ortiz shares that there is one person he will not fight in mixed martial arts: Yoel Romero, a friend since childhood.

Ortiz faces Razvan Cojanu Saturday on a Showtime Boxing card headlined by Mikey Garcia and Robert Easter Jr.
