Dakota Ditcheva ‘Very Honored’ to Kick Off PFL Europe
Dakota Ditcheva is focusing on her upcoming assignment, understanding she’s on path to becoming the new face of the Professional Fighters League in Europe.
Flyweight Ditcheva (7-0, 2-0 PFL) will put her unblemished record on the line as she clashes with short-notice replacement Malin Hermansson in the PFL Europe 1 co-main event. “Dangerous” is coming off back-to-back first-round victories under the PFL banner as she stopped Hassna Gaber in August before putting Katherine Corogenes away in the 2022 Season PFL Championships. Ahead of her next bout, Ditcheva expressed her gratitude for the opportunity, confessing being the face of an important organization is something she’s always dreamed of.
“I feel very honored to be co-headlining on the first show, to kick off the tournament. It’s a big privilege for me and I'm super excited. Obviously, it's a lot of pressure, I'm not going to lie. Seeing my face everywhere and everyone counting on me in the tournament is a lot to deal with, but I'm excited and I'm just enjoying the moment. This is what I want for the future, being the face of an organization like this is just something that I've always dreamed of. I just need to take it in my stride and do the best I can.”
