Beatdown: Rebney, Fili, Starnes

TJ De Santis and Jeff Sherwood were live on the Sherdog Radio Network Monday for another edition of "Beatdown." Joining them on the broadcast was Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney and UFC fighter Andre Fili.

On Friday night Bellator officially started life after Ben Askren. The tournament based promotion crowned a new welterweight champion as Douglas Lima TKO'd Rick Hawn in the second round of their championship affair. Rebney recaps the bout, the event, and what is next for Bellator this Friday night on Spike.

This Saturday night Andre Fili makes his return to the UFC's octagon for the second time. The Team Alpha Male product is matched opposite of 7-time UFC veteran Max Holloway. Fili joined "Beatdown" to preview the featherweight match up, discuss the six month layoff between his UFC debut and his second octagon fight. Fili also discusses his views on Duane Ludwig's departure from the Sacramento based camp.

TJ and Jeff take listener calls, emails, and tweets. The guys also breakdown Saturday night's UFC on Fox card and discuss if they feel Fabricio Werdum has a legitimate chance to dethrone UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velazquez.
