Beatdown: Munoz, Gibson

TJ De Santis and Jeff Sherwood returned to the Sherdog Radio Network Wednesday for another edition of “Beatdown.” Joining the guys were UFC middleweight Mark Munoz and bantamweight prospect Cody Gibson.

On July 6th Mark Munoz faces Tim Boetsch on the UFC 162 card in Las Vegas. Munoz shares his thoughts on the matchup, coming off a loss to title challenger Chris Weidman, and what he thinks about life after mixed martial arts.

Cody “The Renegade” Gibson is a bantamweight prospect on the cusp of getting to the UFC. The Visallia, California native talks about being passed on this season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” his recent win at Nick Diaz’s WAR card, and what the road to the octagon looks like for him going forward.
