UFC on Fox 15 Weigh-in Results: Lyoto Machida, Luke Rockhold Hit Marks in New Jersey

Lyoto Machida could be all that stands between Luke Rockhold and a shot at the Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight crown.

Machida checked in at 185 pounds for his pivotal five-round clash with Rockhold (185) in the UFC on Fox 15 main event on Saturday at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. Middleweight co-headliners Ronaldo Souza (186) and Chris Camozzi (185) also met their contracted weight requirements without incident at Friday’s official weigh-in.

UFC on Fox 15 “Machida vs. Rockhold” -- which airs live on the Fox network at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT -- will also feature a featherweight scrap pitting Jackson-Wink MMA export Cub Swanson (145) against Max Holloway (146) and a women’s strawweight battle pairing Team Alpha Male’s Paige VanZant (115) with Felice Herrig (115).

Two hours prior, Fox will also carry four undercard bouts: Jim Miller (156) vs. Beneil Dariush (155), Ovince St. Preux (205) vs. Patrick Cummins (205), Corey Anderson (205) vs. Gian Villante (206) and Takeya Mizugaki (136) vs. Aljamain Sterling (136). The three remaining preliminary matchups will stream to UFC Fight Pass at 4:30 p.m. ET/1:30 p.m. PT, as former King of the Cage champion Tim Means (170) meets George Sullivan (171), “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 14 winner Diego Brandao (145) faces Jim Hettes (146) and Serra-Longo Fight Team export Eddie Gordon (186) confronts Chris Dempsey (186).
