UFC Fight Night 126 Update: James Vick vs. Francisco Trinaldo Official for Austin

James Vick will get to compete in his home state when he faces Francisco Trinaldo at UFC Fight Night 126.

The promotion announced the lightweight matchup on Thursday. UFC Fight Night 126 takes place at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas, on Feb. 18 and is headlined by a welterweight bout between Donald Cerrone and Yancy Medeiros.

Vick has quietly won eight of his nine UFC appearances, including a second-round technical knockout of Joseph Duffy at UFC 217. “The Texecutioner is 12-1 as a professional overall, with eight victories coming inside the distance.

Trinaldo has also won eight of his last nine in the Octagon, with his only defeat during that time coming against Kevin Lee. Most recently, “Massaranduba” outpointed veteran lightweight Jim Miller at UFC Fight Night 119.
