Neil Magny vs. Alex Oliveira, Three Other Bouts Confirmed for UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo

A welterweight clash pitting Neil Magny against Alex Oliveira was among several bouts announced for UFC Fight Night 137 in Sao Paulo on Sept. 22.

Three other new bouts were also confirmed for the event: Tonya Evinger vs. Ketlen Vieira at bantamweight; Sergio Moraes vs. Ben Saunders at welterweight and Mark Godbeer vs. Luis Henrique Barbosa de Oliveira at light heavyweight.

Magny last appeared at UFC Fight Night 130, where he defeated short-notice foe Craig White via first-round knockout on May 27. The Elevation Fight Team representative has won three of his last four bouts, including triumphs over Carlos Condit and Johny Hendricks.

Oliveira, meanwhile, is coming off a second-round submission of Condit at UFC on Fox 29 on April 14. Prior to that, the Brazilian “Cowboy” lost to Yancy Medeiros via third-round TKO in a “Fight of the Year” candidate at UFC 218.
