The California-based organization announced Wednesday that McDonald will face Peter Ligier in the Bellator 191 bantamweight headliner, while Letourneau will square off against Kate Jackson in a flyweight co-main event. Three other contests were also confirmed: James Thompson vs. Philip De Fries at heavyweight; Jeremy Petley vs. Lewis Monarch at lightweight and Mohammad Yahya vs. Ash Griffiths at lightweight. Thompson-DeFries and Petley-Monarch will round out the main card, and Yahya-Griffiths will take place on the preliminary draw.

Bellator 191 takes place at Metro Radio Arena and airs in the United States on Spike via tape delay at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.

McDonald compiled a 6-3 mark in the UFC, losing to Renan Barao via fourth-round submission in an interim title bid in February 2013. The 26-year-old Californian owns a 17-4 career record that includes wins over the likes of Brad Pickett, Masanori Kanehara, Miguel Torres and Chris Cariaso.

A native of Paris, the 31-year-old Ligier enters his promotional debut with an 8-1-1 career mark. “Badazz” has finished two of his wins via KO/TKO and three by submission while competing on the European regional circuit.

Letourneau will look to halt a three-bout skid at Bellator 191. The 34-year-old Canadian dropped a five-round verdict in a 115-pound title bout against Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 193 and then also fell to Joanne Calderwood and Viviane Pereira in the Octagon before parting ways with the Las Vegas-based promotion. “Trouble” went 3-3 in the UFC and is 8-6 as a professional overall.

Jackson, meanwhile, won her fourth straight contest at Bellator 182, as she defeated Colleen Schneider via TKO after her opponent suffered a knee injury. The 31-year-old Englishwoman is 9-2-1 over the course of her pro tenure.
