Joe Rogan Labels Greg Hardy's UFC Debut 'Terrible'
Former NFL player Greg Hardy made his UFC debut several weeks ago against Allen Crowder in the co-main event slot at UFC Fight Night 143 on the promotion’s first-ever card on ESPN+. Hardy was disqualified by the referee for an illegal knee to the head of his opponent midway through the second round.

“Terrible,” Rogan said. “It was a joke. It was a joke. I knew that guy was fading quick. ... I was like, ‘He’s fading. I don’t like the way he’s stepping, he looks exhausted.’ He tired out quick, then he hit that dude with the illegal knee.”
UFC President Dana White received criticism for including the former NFL player in the co-main event given his history of domestic violence, his inexperience in the sport and the fact he was included on the same card as Rachel Ostovich who was herself a victim of domestic violence late last year.
Hardy headed into the fight against Crowder with a weight of expectation considering he had dispatched his previous three opponents in under a minute each. Despite being disqualified, White has said that Hardy will be given another chance inside the Octagon to prove his worth.
