Sakara headlined the promotion’s last trip to Italy in December 2018. There, he suffered a first-round knockout loss to Kent Kauppinen at RDS Stadium in Genoa. The 37-year-old has appeared on five of the six cards Bellator has held in his home country, serving as the main event in three of those. “Legionarous” has posted a 3-2 mark in those bouts and is 20-13 as a professional overall.
No other bouts were announced for the event.
