9 Bouts Official for UFC 119

Former lightweight champion Sean Sherk will lock horns with the world-ranked Evan Dunham in a featured matchup at UFC 119 “Mir vs. Nogueira 2” on Sept. 25 at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Nine fights are now official for the event, which will air live on pay-per-view.

Dunham last appeared at UFC 115 in June, when he defeated Xtreme Couture Mixed Martial Arts teammate Tyson Griffin by split decision. Unbeaten as a professional, the 28-year-old Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt has secured more than half (six) of his 11 career victories by submission. Dunham, a rising star on the lightweight scene, remains the only man to beat Efrain Escudero, having submitted “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 8 winner with an armbar at UFC Fight Night 20 in January.

Dollaway will collide with Canadian journeyman Joe Doerksen
at 185 pounds.
Dollaway will carry a two-fight winning streak into the match. A decorated amateur wrestler, the 26-year-old was a national champion in junior college and a Div. I All-American at Arizona State University. Dollaway last fought in February, when he outpointed Goran Reljic en route to a unanimous decision at UFC 110 in Sydney, Australia.
A former World Extreme Cagefighting middleweight title contender, Doerksen has rattled off seven consecutive victories. The 32-year-old needed just 43 seconds to stop Shawn Marchand on first-round punches in the Canadian Fighting Championship 5 headliner in June. Doerksen has secured 33 of his 46 career victories by submission. His list of victims includes former International Fight League middleweight champion Ryan McGivern, one-time UFC middleweight title challenger Patrick Cote, “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 3 runner-up Ed Herman and 2006 Pride Fighting Championships welterweight grand prix finalist Denis Kang. Doerksen owns a 2-5 mark inside the Octagon.
A rematch between world-ranked heavyweights Frank Mir and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will headline UFC 119, along with a pivotal light heavyweight showdown between unbeaten “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 8 winner Ryan Bader and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. The event will also feature a lightweight duel pitting Jeremy Stephens against Melvin Guillard and a welterweight rematch pairing former champion Matt Serra with Chris Lytle.
