Edgar is preparing for the opportunity of a lifetime.
He is slated for a title shot at UFC 112 in Abu Dhabi, where the New Jersey native will face the biggest test of his career in lightweight champion B.J. Penn.
Edgar sat down with Greg Savage in New York, where he was training with Georges St. Pierre, Kenny Florian, Renzo Gracie and Ricardo Almeida, to talk about what he called “the fight of [his] life.”
Though he is a huge underdog, Edgar is confident he can succeed where so many others have failed.
