Beatdown: Lytle, Afromowitz, Loiseau
Live radio might still be on the shelf. But, that didn't stop The
Sherdog Radio Network from bringing you a packed "Beatdown" that no
MMA fan should miss. Jack Encarnacao and Jon Luther are back with a
show that spans the better part of three hours. Guests included
Chris
Lytle, David
Loiseau, and former Strikeforce head Mike Afromowitz.
Chris Lytle is just days removed from his final mixed martial arts bout. "Lights Out" talked to Jack and Jon about his career that played out over three decades. The Indiana native also speaks on his political ambitions and how he plans on staying involved with mixed martial arts going forward.
David
Loiseau is another mixed martial arts fighter who has had a
storied career. "The Crow" joins Encarnacao and Luther to chat
about his documentary "The Striking Truth." The Canadian also talks
about the loss of Coach Shawn
Tompkins.
"Business as usual" was a common phrase following the sale of Strikeforce to Zuffa. It was anything but the norm for former Strikeforce employee Mike Afromowitz. The former V.P. joined the program to talk about his exit from the company, his thoughts on the sale, and what he has been doing since being let go. Afromowitz is candid with his thoughts over the course of this hour long interview.
Jack and Jon also speak to Emanuel Newton who is back in action this weekend in Shark Fights.
